Hogrock Octoberfest Cave in Rock, IL October 5-6-7-8th, 2006 A biker party done right ! Once again Hogrock is topping the list at THE best biker party in America. For those of you that haven't been yet to their fall rally it's almost like a completely different biker rally from their june party. Fewer people show up, but they're all the RIGHT KIND of party people if you know what I mean. It's almost as if all the tourist and gawkers that show up for the june party don't make it to the fall rally, so all that's left is the real hardcore wild people. Which is fine by me :) Don't get me wrong, they still had several thousand people show up, the entire weekend was wall-to-wall contests and EVERYBODY had a great time. Tons of things to do, most of them FREE. Free bull riding every evening from sundown to late into the night... and free camel rides?!?!?! That's right, they had some guy bring a couple of CAMELS to the party just so people could ride them for kicks. And of course let's not forget the pig races going on every once & a while all weekend long. Unlike the June party which has grown so large they had to create satellite stage areas around the campgrounds, the Octoberfest is all centered around the main stage at the bottom of the hill, just like Hogrock June used to be in the old days. The weekend has 4 or 5 contests every single day, ranging from wet t shirt contest, nipple sizing contest, men's and women's hot chaps contest, best titty painting contest, buns of steel contest and I forget what else... all I know is that at THIS party the entertainment is always happening. They also had helicopter rides which were not free, but not that expensive either. And of course a couple of titty painters setup around the place. Bands are happening. Live music pretty well non-stop from right after lunch till late into the night. A band called Plain Strange is always one of my favorites, with their homemade bazooka shooting off beads and T shirts into the crowd during their show. I'm going to rate this party a perfect 10/10, simply because it's a biker party done right. Unlike most parties I go to at this one I didn't even have to ask people if they were having a good time, all I had to do is take a look at their faces to witness an ear to ear grin on just about everyone. If you like titties, if you wild biker parties, if you like naked bull riding and rock'n roll bands you should DEFINATELY add this party on your ''to go'' list for next fall. ---------------------- Campground Description : Private property just outside of the small town Cave in Rock, IL. 100+ acres of rolling hills, plenty of shade trees around. Gravel roads throughout the campground. Clothing optional (hell everybody is naked) swimming pond. Plenty of primitive (tent) camping. RV's welcome, hookups available. Hot showers on location. Food vendors on location. --------------------- Entry : $30 for the entire weekend, includes primitive camping. Bikes enter free. Adults only, 18 or better to enter. ID may be required.
