My first time ever at this rally, I had planned on covering it last summer but hurricane Katrina forced them to postpone the party.
Check out the ol'boy dressed in camo... it was his birthday so MC GONZO told him to grab the pole and got the girls lined up at the end of the stage to give him an ass whippin'! I ain't NEVER telling these people when MY birthday is :)
You'll also notice at the bottom of the page the pictures from the fund raiser for Bulldog, who passed away at this rally last year leaving a 15 year old daughter in need. On Saturday night they raised OVER $6,000 to help this poor girl out. If that ain't real bikers lending a helping hand I don't know what is.
Don't forget many of these guys (and girls) are still recovering from hurricane Katrina's effects, and they only had about 2-3,000 people there. I've never seen a benefit before where they raised several dollars for every person there, and I've never met a finer grouping of bikers in all my years of covering these events.
