Bama Bike Fest July 2006 Rally Forkland, AL July 14-16th, 2006 the Bama Bike Fest is fast becoming one of my favorite little parties. Sorry it's taken me so long to get this posted, but I pulled a LONG weekend on the 15th. First I rode over and spent two days at the little sturgis kentucky rally, but I got so fed up with all the crowds, pissy short fuzed people and punk ass drunk 19 year olds that I decided to pack up before dawn on Saturday and ride over to the Bama Bike Fest. Definately one of the better decisions I've made lately. What can I say? The Bama bike fest is a couple of thousand people with lots of elbow room, an air conditioned bar that serves both beer & liquor, good party people, lot's of fun, crazy contests and a real good time. Little Sturgis is a packed out rat fest with about 4x too many people for the size of campgrounds their hosting the event at, with barely any organized events and chaos in the campgrounds. I guess seeing as how I hit both in the same weekend I can't help but compare the rallies. Back to the Bama bike fest. As I mentioned I pulled in Saturday morning, and even though everyone kept telling me about all the fun I missed on Friday night I still managed to catch the (topless/naked) biker games, bike show, girls pudding wrestling contest, the ladies chaps contest, the (topless/naked) slip'n slide games, two different wet t shirt contests, some drinking games and a couple of bands. And a titty painting contest, and some chicks dancing for the band. Not bad for a Saturday huh? Like I said, I like the Bama bike fest. If I had my druthers, I'd ruther go here than just about any other party around. And of course it only keeps growing and getting better & better. I went again. I saw again. And guess what? I had a great time, again! ---------------------- Campground Description : Located at the Acker's farm, just north of Forkland, AL on private property. Tons of grass camping space. Free showers on location. Full service biker bar on location. Porta potty toilets. Food, beer & liquor sold on location. Other vendors on location. --------------------- Entry : $20 per person for the entire weekend. armbands must be worn at all times. Rv's and hookups extra. Bikes, trucks & cars free.
