Thunder Rally 2005 Spring Party Milledgeville, GA April 8-10th 2005 First time, great time. This is my first time at the MilledgeVille thunder rally. I heard some good things about this rally last summer so I put on it on my ''to do'' list this year. Let me tell you it was well worth the ride! These people got it going on. Lots of contests, live bands, tons of camping space and a great party crowd are all the necessary ingredients for a great biker rally. And they've got them all. It's not suprising that this rally has been doubling every year, and that they've now got THREE, yes count them THREE rallies every summer. This rally was busy, with lots going on pretty well all afternoon, evening and of course late into the night. Poker run, 50/50 raffles, a great bike show, burn outs at the pit and bike games during the day. And live bands, wild contests and lots of fun as soon as the sun goes down. As a matter of fact this rally was damn good. The only thing that would make it better is a mechanical bull and some gogo poles in front of the stage. Don't be misled by their flyer. The contests here are as wild as it gets and they have lots of them. A show off you titty paintings contest, topless hulla hoop contest, women's best chaps contest and a special twist on the strong woman contest... you have to do it topless! And let me tell you about their girls wrestling in pudding contest... it started out pretty normal with the women featuring the right body types required to wrassle an adult 'gator, but then all of the sudden these 4 babes popped up out of the crowd and decided to jump in the pudding pit just to put on a show. Holy crapola, it was something to see. And that's comming from a guy who thought he'd seen it all. It's definatly NOT a rally to bring your kids to. But it sure was a good time. Oops, did I forget to mention the stage? The band gets up on stage and starts cranking out some tunes and then out of the blue the singer pulls out the mike & says ''let's git us some wimmen up here on da stage'' and faster than you can open a can of beer they had about 20 of them up on the stage dancing having a good 'ol time with beads flying through the air like mardi gras. And that pretty well set the tone for the weekend. You gotta love it. All in all I well over 2,000 people showed up for a great time, and they weren't dissapointed. I went, I had a good time and you should go also. Leave the kids at home, bring your beer and your beads and prepare yourself to have a good time.
