Bama bikefest 2005 - Wild biker parties
Bama Bike Fest October 2005 Forkland, AL October 28-29-30th, 2005 It just keeps getting better & better. This rally is fast becoming one of my favorite, REAL grass-roots biker parties. It's all about the bikers, the babes, good times, good booze, lot's of naked fun and just camping out with your buddies. It reminds me of the old days, the way things used to be. I pulled in early afternoon on Friday and setup camp. The actual campgrounds are pretty good being litteraly all grass. Easy enough to find a spot to pitch your tent. They also have tons of RV spots for those of you that insist on bringing all the comforts of home everywhere you go, and some trees here & there & around the campgrounds for shade. Heated showers, a REAL BAR right there on the rally grounds that actually serves REAL BOOZE (not just beer), porta potties scattered around and a stage with a couple of gogo poles right in front round it all off. What else could you ask for? So Friday the sun went down, the band cranked up and the people started partying. A few drinking games, a couple of ''ass shaking'' contests for both men & women, a few more drinking games... this party is looking pretty damn good. They even had a big bonfire set up right in front of the stage to keep us all warm because it does get a little nippy in October. And of course when things get a little too chilly to party outside you can just move the party on over INTO the bar! Saturday started off with a poker run just before noon and some biker games during the afternoon. Traditional games like the keg toss, slow race, weenie bite, road kill & a couple of others. Once again the infamous ''buy back'' rules apply, so if at first you don't succeed you can try again... if your willing to do it topless. Or butt-ass nekid. Makes the biker rodeo games a LOT more interesting if you know what I mean. After the rodeo games was the bike show followed by a dinner (supper for you yankees) break. Saturday night was kind of wild. There WAS supposed to be a few different contests followed by the grand finalee, the wet t shirt contest around midnight. What actually happened is a few of the girls came up to the stage & asked if they could pretty please maybe move up the wet t contest a little earlier? A few of the girls jumped in, then a few more, then even more... and it ended up becoming a full blown, almost 90 minute long wild wet t shirt contest that lasted through the evening & 'till well after the sun went down! So much for waiting until midnight for the grand finalee :) After the wet t shirt contest the band cranked up some tunes, they had a few more drinking games & a nipple sizing contest. And a burnout contest. And they partied on in the bar. And there was also the ''REDNECK MAFIA'' setup back in the campgrounds. Never heard of them? They're some hard-core redneck party'ers that setup their very own dance floor, complete with lights, a spinning disco ball and a projector playing back movies from their previous exploits at other biker rallies. I've seen them setup at Little Sturgis, and again at Faunsdale this summer and these boys (and girls) KNOW how to party! They got some wild & crazy shit going on at their campsite. Make sure & check them out for a good time late at night if (and when) you spot them at a rally. To sum it up it was a damn fun little party. About 5-600 of the right kind of people showed up and everyone had a good time. I went, I saw and I had a blast. And you should go to. They've got another Bama bikefest scheduled for March 2006... be there, or kick yourself for missing it. ---------------------- Campground Description : Flat and grassy.
