Styx River Aug 2004 Styx River, AL July 30th - Aug 01 2004 A little calmer that usual As ya'll know I've been to quite a few styx river rallies. As a matter of fact, I think I've been to every single one since they started... And it's definately my kind of rally. Things were a little more toned down this rally for some reason, but it was still good fun. My favorite part of this rally is always the biker rodeo games, cuz if you mess up you can still go around for another try as long as your willing to do it topless (or naked, depending on how brave you are). Of course you can still participate with your clothes on, but where's the fun in that? It makes their rodeo a lot more interesting than the typical rodeo's at most rallies. I gotta take a sec to mention the wrestling. They had some (pro? semi pro?) wrestlers that set up a ring and had at it. Not what you usually see at a biker rally. Friday night was kind of calm, they really don't have much organized on the first day. You kinda just show up, grab a camping spot and say hi to all your buddies. They did have a band playing, and of course the (in)famous DJ Fast Eddie makes sure to let everybody know that the stage IS available for amateur erotic dancers. Ya'll would be suprised how many people do it just for kicks. Saturday was pretty busy, with a poker run, wrestling, a bike show, a biker rodeo and tatoo contest... and in the evening there was a live band and of course their late night wet t shirt contest. All in all a pretty good weekend. If you've never been to the Styx River rally you should definately check it out. ---------------------- Adults Only (21 & over) No children allowed.
