I had a great time. Rally at the strip is located at the old English Mountain drag strip, about a mile outside of Newport, TN. It's one of those drag strip / party rallies, with an Eighth mile track. You can bring your own bike and run it down the tarmac, race your buddies or participate in the bracket races (for some prize $$$), it's all good. Ever wanted to see what your scooter can really do? Been arguing that your Buell can beat out some dudes Panhead? This is the place to try it out! They've changed their layout, moving the stage and the vendors to the top of the hill by the full throttle saloon, their drive through biker bar. It's a much better layout than what they used to have with the party spread out all over the place. And yes, you can ride your bike right up to the bar and get you something, or do a burnout inside the building. It's pretty damn cool. They had a couple of boobie contests, some biker rodeo games, some really good bands and plenty of vendors, drags all weekend long, little hottie DJ Laura messing with people, daily burnouts up inside the bar... all in all it was a good weekend. With the recent changes they've made to the layout this show is finally hitting it's stride, and promises to be even better next spring. I spoke to the owner who's got some big plans for the next show (May 5-8, 2011), I've already got it added on my ''don't miss list'' for next spring. Check it out, I'm betting that it's going to be one great party. Bob rates this party a good 7/10 score
