JUST FOR FUN : Stron man / Strong woman contest, loud pipes contest, burn out contest, Pole in the Hole contest. LIVE BANDS : Bag Lady Sue, DB Bryant, Buck McCoy, Jason Wesley, Stone Sunshine, Phoenix Rising CAMPGROUNDS : Good, hard packed gravel roads. Nice shower house with free hot showers. Porta potty toilets scattered around the campgrounds and main stage. One great throw down. If you like your parties old school and wild June bug boogie is the place for you. Good Bands. Buck McCoy and Jason Wesley doing the country thing. DB Bryant banging out their own special brand of classic blues/rock, Phoenix Rising with her incredible voice and Stone Sunshine out up on stage. Pretty damn good listening for a backwoods blowout party. They also had Bag Lady Sue out there doing her very own special brand of comedy. Once you've seen her show your scarred for life! For those of you that have never seen her, well your missing something very special. Not to mention funny as hell. LOT'S of really wild contests all weekend long, at this rally they don't even wait for the sun to go down before getting wild and stoopid. My personal favorite has to be the ''Home Grown or Silicone'' contest where the natural girls go VS the boob jobs to determine the crowd's favorite. Oh ya, it's my kind of party. They've got another show scheduled called the June Bug Boogie TOO the last week of September. I really like the June Bug Boogie, it's not as big and crowded as some of the more well known shows but it IS just as wild and crazy. Stop in and check it out, I know you'll have a great time!
