ADULTS ONLY CONTESTS : Wet t shirt contest, banana sucking contest LIVE BANDS : Mulberry Road, Handshake Promise, Crossroads CAMPGROUNDS : Lot's of open space, RV hookups available. Some shade, but limited. Grass fields. Nice stage, with vendors lined up out front. Private property, very secluded. Very nice shower house with hot water. What a great place for a party! The Circle S bike rally in Beaverton Alabama is one of those new shows I decided to pop over and check out for the weekend. It's an almost perfect set up with a great stage, indoor shower house and bathrooms, rv hookups, plenty of tent camping space and tons of other amenities. If I was designing a place from scratch to have a rally it would look almost exactly like this place. There was some trouble with the local sherrif, who decided at the last minute to set up a road block and remind everyone that it was a dry county. But don't worry, they've got it covered. The plan for the next rally is to turn the property into a members only club to avoid the entire situation. Instead of buying an armband at the gate you'll simply pick up a private club membership instead. Three different bands rocking out some tunes, the regular assortement of vendors, Saturday afternoon field events and even an inflatable slip'n slide set up just to beat the heat... like I said this show had a great set up. A huge party this isn't yet, but I sure could see this one growing. They've got another show coming up this fall, if I can I'll pop over and check it out. . Bob rates this party a 4/10
