Reminds me of Little Sturgis, KY.

The Milledgeville Thunder rally has been around for a few years now and I decided to stop in and see how they've been doing. Unlike most of the rallies that you go to these days, Milledgeville has no RV hookups and no ban on four wheelers or golf carts. They actually rent golf carts right there at the gate.

On the other hand neither do they charge extra for bringing in your RV, nor are there any support vehicule fees. It's just a straight $40 per person to get in the gate and that's it. They don't care what you ride/pull/tow/push/pedal/drive through the gate.

They did have some live bands, a biker rodeo, a bike show and few other things going on but make no mistake about it, this show is all about the party in the campgrounds. Things were pretty subdued during the day but as soon as the sun went down you could hear all them camper parties cranking into full swing.

If you plan on attending bring lots of beads. And maybe a golf cart to ride around and around the campgrounds in. And of course bring your camera, you'll have plenty to shoot.

Thunder Rally was a pretty good little party, with three shows a year these people know what their doing. It's not an old school biker rally, but it was a pretty good time with a couple/three thousand of some true party enthusiasts showing up for a weekend of ''cut loose & have fun''.

Bob rates this party a 6/10 beer cans
