Damn. That was one great party!|
For those of you that have never been there it's a pretty good location, lot's of shaded areas for primitive camping. Free hot showers on location, the Scooters and Hooters biker bar located right there at the entrance to the rally grounds. This is one of the only rallies that I've been to that has NO support vehicule fees.
It's a wild show. As soon as you enter the rally grounds you will see naked people. Lots of little campground parties, private pools and enterprising individuals set up around the rally roads offering beads to pretty well anyone that happens to drive by.
Some great bands this weekend. Bag Lady Sue packed the place out, it was standing room only for as far as you could see. The Jasmine Cain band got out there rocking and slamming away, and the Harley recording artist Beau Braswell were all top notch entertainment.
Loads and loads of wild contests, and unlike most shows I got to the June Bug Boogie is co-ed. So they'll have a women's wet t shirt contest followed by the men's wet boxer show contest. I wasn't too sure about it at first, but the crowd loves it and the women go wild for it so what the hell I guess it's all good.
There really isn't much else to say, except they had bike games both Friday and Saturday afternoon, it was hot as hell and nobody cared... and oh ya, somebody got married up on stage. All in all it was one hell of a party and I'm happy to give them a PERFECT SCORE. If you like your rallies wild don't miss their fall show coming up in September 2009, check out their web site for the exact dates. You know I'll be there.
Bob rates this party a perfect 10/10!
