Exclusive biker party coverage : June Bug Boogie 2008 What a weekend. Rockin' great bands, tons of wild contests, fireworks, flame throwers, burnouts... this rally's got it all! This is one of the few ''co ed'' rallies out there, where they'll typically (but not always) have a women's contest, followed by a man's contest. So for example you'll have the ladies hot chaps contest, followed by the man's hot chaps contest. It was kind of weird at first, but everybody really gets into it and I certainly don't care if they throw in a few contests for the ladies. And judging by the women that would surround the stage you would have thought you were at Chippendales instead of a biker rally. The bands were exceptionally good for the size of the rally, you don't usually get this quality of entertainment at a party with 3,000 or so people. And I HAVE to mention the guys with THREE FLAME THROWERS that torched a jap bike on a huge bonfire! Or the giant fireworks show. Or one of the best burnout contest's I've seen in a couple of years. During the Men's sexiest bald head contest one guy with a full head of hair shaved it off... just so he could participate. It was that kind of weekend. About the only negative thing you could say about this one is that they don't have any RV Hookups, but then again they don't charge you extra if you bring an RV so who cares? They did have hot showers, lot's of great entertainment, wild contests... all it in all it was my kind of party!
