2008 daytona biketoberfest - at the cabbage patch Bob rates this rally a 5/10 beer cans The Sopotnick's cabbage patch, world famous for their girls coleslaw wrestling. Because I hit soo many places this year at biketoberfest I could only spend one day at each. For Saturday, the last day of biketoberfest I decided to go just outside of town to Samsula, FL for the famous cabbage patch wrestling match. The actual girls wrestling in coleslaw event was kind of fun, but with only 8 girls dragged out over about 3 hours it did get to be a little much. They also had the world's largest beer bong event with 152 different taps powered by two beer kegs. Once again it took forever to find that many volunteers, and once they finally did it was over in 5 seconds. Kind of cool, but dissapointing all at the same time. Maybe I should have gown down to the cabbage patch on Friday instead, I heard it started to get a little wild inthe bar and the local sherrif had to step in and threaten to make some arrests to calm things down a bit. And when I say a little wild what I really mean is some girl showed too much ass during the thong pull. Oh my goodness, we can't be having that now can we? Whow knows what THAT might lead to! Destroying the town and pillaging their chickens maybe? For crying out loud it's just a few bikers in town, it's not a viking invasion. It wasn't too bad with a couple/three thousand people showing up for the main cabbage wrestling event. Most left at the end of the afternoon with only a few die hards staying later on into the night. The bands were... loud. Ok I guess, about what you would expect for a small weekend bike rally. Honestly I don't know what to say, the entire day just left me with that ho-hum kind of feeling. World famous for the girls coleslaw wrestling, it's a must see on any Daytona biketoberfest trip.

Sure is nice to see your tax dollars at work
