Mardi Gras in the Fall

Another year, another Hogrock octoberfest... and it just keeps on getting bigger & better.

Wall to wall contests, lots of things to do and a great crowd and all around party atmosphere make this one of my all time favorite rallies. Every day has some activities in the afternoon, a few bands playing from mid-day to the wee hours of the morning... it's just a good time for everyone.

This year they offered an early bird special, an extra $10 for the armband allows you to pull in the gate on wednesday, and the activities started on thursday.

Too many different wet tee shirts, silly stage games, tons of rockin' bands and a couple / three titty contests every day keep things busy and fun. They've also got a mechanical bull going all weekend long you can ride for free... of course this being a biker party the more clothes you're NOT wearing, the shorter your wait to get on the bull is. Hahahaha... what a great idea, why don't all biker rallies do this?

They also had ''Smitty the titty painter'' set up all weekend long doing his thing, with an official body painting contest at the end of the rally to see who had the best... well, uhmm... artwork! And Hogdaddy who puts on this party even gave all the girls on the contest back some cash to reimburse them the cost of the paintings... because it's just that kind of party.

Did I mention the helicopter rides? The great people? The gogo cages & poles in front of the stage? Raunchy old bag lady Sue that manages to make you laugh and wish you hadn't eaten that last corn dog all at the same time?

Look, I've been saying it for years and I'll say it again. THIS PARTY IS A BLAST! Hogrock octoberfest is just like the old Hogrock june party used to be, before it got so big they had to split it up on three different stages. I could write a small book about my experiences over the weekend, and trying to cram it all in a few small paragraphes just ain't happening.

As one of the most experienced party go'ers in America, take my word for it and walk, crawl, run, jump, slide, ride, limp or steal your buddie's ex-wife's car (cuz it wouldn't be right to take your buddies ride)... JUST MAKE SURE TO ADD THIS PARTY ON YOUR ''TO GO TO'' LIST NEXT YEAR!

Contests : THREE different wet tee shirt contests, ''Show me how you got them beads'' contest, Painted ladies contest, Coed hot shorts contest, Strong man contest, Nipple sizing contest, a ''What Tee Shirt'' contest.

Amenities : Primitive camping, porta potty toilets, Showers on location, clothing optional swimming hole, food & other vendors on site.
